Malachi Farrell
Malachi Farrell is one of three very creative siblings and a graduate of the Rijksakademie in Amsterdam. He imagines robots that are politically sensitive and hell-bent on highlighting all forms of exacerbated human stupidity.
A committed artist and hence enraged. Incensed about the turn that this financialized world is taking beyond reality, which has become the kingdom of social injustice. His creatures have a digital brain whose personality is written by the artist in one of the three computer languages. As he pleases. He injects a dose of singular poetry, through this technological alphabet, which is by definition icy. Farrell plays with our nerves and dismantles our perception of the work, taking us into unchartered territory, a new type of relationship, human and inhuman. Several levels of reading are required: The politicized dimension, mixed with this playful machinery, makes the whole thing unique and universal. Zero pathos.
